Two interesting developments coming out of the Arab world.
April 6th poster calling for general strike
1. April 6th Youth Movement is calling for a repeat (hopefully with more success) of the general strikes that Egypt witnessed last year. For more information, visit their blog here.
2. An Egyptian online radio station named Horytna (Our Right) is calling for the youth of the Arab world to nominate themselves for the position of President of any Arab country. A very creative action that is meant to empower youth. More here.
With these two actions, one fairly conservative although risky and the other very creative, how can they work together to support one another?
